Project Manager - Mining Technology

Hays Technology is currently partnering with a leading resources organisation to recruit an experienced Project Manager to deliver a Portfolio of technology and operational projects across a large-scale mining environment.

Your recent role

This role will focus on the delivery of a P25 Radio Core Upgrade project, along with other small-scale technology initiatives. You will be responsible for managing projects through the full lifecycle, from Study phases and business case development through to delivery and close-out.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the delivery of small technology and infrastructure projects
- Manage the P25 Radio Core Upgrade project
- Develop study-phase documentation and business cases
- Prepare project documentation aligned to established project management frameworks
- Coordinate stakeholders across technical and operational teams
- Manage project scope, schedule, risks, budgets, and reporting
- Ensure successful project delivery from initiation through to completion.

What you'll need to succeed





- Demonstrated years' of experience in Project Management within mining, resources, or technology environments
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure, communications, or technology projects
- Strong experience developing business cases and completing study phases
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and influence outcomes
- Relevant Project Management qualifications
