Role Description The Project Manager will oversee heritage restoration and stonemasonry projects from planning through completion, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope, and to RJC Group’s quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating project schedules, managing resources, liaising with Tier 1 builders, consultants, and government stakeholders, and monitoring site progress and safety. The role involves overseeing inspections, managing logistics for materials and equipment, and handling documentation such as reports, budgets, and risk assessments.

This is a full time,



on-site role based in the Greater Sydney Area, requiring frequent presence on project sites and close collaboration with site supervisors, trades, and clients.

Qualifications

- Strong project management skills, including Project Management and Expediting, to plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple projects effectively.
- Experience in Expeditor and Inspection functions, ensuring timely approvals, quality checks, and compliance with heritage and safety standards.
- Proficiency in Logistics Management to oversee material flow, site deliveries, and resource allocation across project locations.
- Background in construction, stonemasonry, or heritage restoration projects, with an understanding of classical architecture and restoration practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with builders, consultants, government representatives, and on-site teams.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and risk management awareness.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in construction management, engineering, project management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with project management software and standard construction documentation; knowledge of local building codes and heritage regulations is an advantage.
