About your opportunity The purpose of this position is to play a key role in delivering Queensland Health's Early Intervention and Parenting Support Initiative, the Expanded Child Health Centre Initiative and Putting Queensland Kids First Strategy, specifically the Sustained Health Home Visiting Program and Enhanced Child Health Services and Developmental Checks Initiative.

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

- Salary range: $128,169 to $137,918 p.a. (HP4)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements: Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

- Psychologists: Must have a qualification in psychology from a registered tertiary institution and be fully registered with the Psychologists Board of Australia (AHPRA), including a current annual licence certificate. The possession of an Australian Psychological Society (APS) accredited postgraduate qualification in clinical psychology, and/or membership with the APS would be highly considered.
- Social Workers: Must have a qualification in Social Work from a recognised tertiary institution with eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Blue Card Checks: Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a ‘working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position.
- Travel: This position may be required to support Rural clients and Child Health teams with the requirement for car, ferry and light aircraft travel and may include overnight stays.
- Drivers Licence: The successful applicant is required to possess a C Class Drivers Licence.
