About the role

AJB Electrical Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Qualified Electrician to join our team in Mulgrave (Hawkesbury), NSW. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of electrical projects in a fast-paced and professional environment. As a Qualified Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

This role is essential to our operations and directly impacts the quality of service we deliver to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

- Installing and maintaining electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Diagnosing electrical faults and performing repairs to resolve issues efficiently and effectively
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics
- Testing electrical systems and equipment using appropriate diagnostic tools and instruments
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant electrical codes and Australian Standards
- Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and provide professional advice on electrical solutions
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used on projects
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects on schedule
- Prioritising workplace safety and adhering to all health and safety protocols
- Undertaking ongoing professional development to stay current with industry practices and technologies

What we're looking for

- Current electrical licence recognised in New South Wales, or equivalent qualification from another Australian state
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair practices
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and technical documentation
- Strong understanding of relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Proven experience working on residential, commercial, or industrial electrical projects




- Competency with electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- A commitment to workplace safety and health practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cooperative team
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
- Experience with specific electrical specialisations (such as data cabling, renewable energy, or automation) would be advantageous
