Daabon Organic Australia Pty Ltd We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated Quality Assurance Manager to ensure we continue to meet industry best practices in food safety and compliance. This is a leadership role requiring a thorough understanding of quality assurance practices and regulatory compliance together with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.

responsibilities Update, implement and monitor quality assurance procedures for handling, processing and storage at our Laverton North site, staying updated on industry trends, regulations and advancements in quality assurance.

Review and update SOPs, work instructions and quality documentation: educating and assisting the Team to understand any changes and all Food Safety and Quality requirements. Monitor daily GMP, hygiene and housekeeping practices to ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP and food safety standards. Co-ordinating the in-house quality assurance activities such as testing, reviews, audits, etc and maintaining the related data for analysis and reporting in accordance with the QA framework.

Manage food safety and take immediate action should a non-conformance arise, including stopping production or delivery and quarantining finished goods if necessary. Promptly escalating issues if they arise. Schedule, organise and lead the audit program including assisting in Customers audits as required.





Manage Corrective Action Requests or Non-Conformances ensuring prioritisation and timely closure. Lead the Occupational Health and Safety Committee to ensure compliance and timely remedy of any issues.

Qualification & experience Degree in Food Technology, Applied Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience leading quality assurance in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, HACCP, GMP, and relevant industry standards.

Experience in quality data analysis, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop quality and laboratory teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management systems. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Commitment to customer satisfaction, compliance, and quality excellence.
