We’re looking for a Receptionist – Sales to join our friendly and supportive team at BIG4 Launceston Holiday Park.
This isn’t your standard front desk role. You’ll be based in our reception office at the heart of the park, welcoming guests, managing reservations, responding to enquiries and helping guests choose the right accommodation or site for their stay.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, provides excellent customer service and is comfortable turning enquiries into bookings and identifying opportunities to upgrade or add value to a guest’s stay.
This is a part time role of approximately 25–32 hours per week, working across a rotating roster with alternating weekend work.
Your role will include
- Managing phone, email and online booking enquiries
- Taking, changing and managing reservations
- Welcoming and checking in guests
- Helping guests select the right accommodation or powered site
- Converting enquiries into bookings
- Identifying upgrade and additional sales opportunities
- Processing payments and completing general reception administration
- Providing local recommendations and visitor information
- Working closely with housekeeping, grounds and management to ensure a great guest experience
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, confident and comfortable talking with people
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- A strong communicator in person, over the phone and via email
- Confident using computers and learning new systems
- Naturally sales-minded without being pushy
- Reliable, positive and a genuine team player
- Proud of delivering a high standard of customer service
Previous experience in reception, reservations, accommodation, tourism, hospitality, customer service or sales would be highly regarded, although the right attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
