Role Overview: As a Recruitment Consultant in Randstad’s Industrial Division based in Essendon Fields, you’ll focus on growing our presence within the public sector, placing blue-collar talent into roles such as gardeners, forklift operators, labourers, landscapers, and maintenance workers.

This desk requires a solid business development focus, where you’ll be responsible for identifying & building a good rapport with hiring managers in the public sector. This is a high-growth desk that rewards a "hunter" mindset.

What you’ll do

- Drive Growth : Proactively identify and secure new partnerships through strategic business development, cold calling, and networking.




- Consult & Partner: Deep-dive into the needs of public sector hiring managers to provide blue collar recruitment solutions.
- Source the Best: Find, vet, and place exceptional candidates, ensuring a perfect match for both skill and culture.
- Own the Process: Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle with a focus on compliance, speed, and quality.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in recruitment or sales, with the ability to manage consistent client demand.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commitment to maintaining service standards in a public sector environment.
- You are resourceful and hold yourself accountable to KPIs and high service standards. ( Note: A valid driver's license and own vehicle are required for client visits, with mileage reimbursed ).
