About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team at Hancock's Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Electrical in Whyalla, South Australia. As a full-time Refrigeration Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

What you'll be doing

- Carry out preventative maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration systems

- Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning and refrigeration systems

- On call roster

- Provide technical advice and guidance to clients

- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards

- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed

- Collaborate with the wider team to deliver exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

- A Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic (Certificate 3 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration)

- 1+ years experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems

- Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations and safety requirements

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills





- Customer service orientation and strong communication skills
- A current driver's licence

- Willing to obtain National Police and Working With Children clearances
