Are you an experienced Refrigeration Technician looking for a reliable, long-term role with variety, autonomy, and genuine work-life balance?

Our client is a reputable and growing commercial refrigeration and HVAC/R service provider delivering high-quality solutions across South East Queensland. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and skilled refrigeration technician to join the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys fault-finding, hands-on work, and being trusted to manage their own jobs across a diverse range of commercial refrigeration applications.

About the Role

You will service, maintain, repair, and install a wide range of commercial refrigeration systems and equipment, including:

- Cold Rooms

- Freezer Rooms

- Commercial Refrigeration Systems

- Ice Machines

- Beer Systems

- Food Processing Refrigeration

- Pharmaceutical Storage & Temperature-Controlled Facilities

- Supermarket Refrigeration

- Hotel Refrigeration Systems

- Display Refrigeration

You will work across a diverse range of commercial environments, providing reliable refrigeration solutions while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer service.

Key Duties Include

- Fault finding, diagnostics and breakdown response

- Preventative maintenance and servicing

- Installation, commissioning and upgrade works

- Servicing and maintaining cold rooms and freezer rooms

- Ice machine servicing and repairs

- Beer system servicing and maintenance

- Refrigeration servicing within food processing facilities

- Temperature-controlled pharmaceutical storage





- Commercial refrigeration servicing across hotels and supermarkets

- Providing professional customer service on site

- Completing job reports and documentation

- Identifying potential equipment issues and recommending solutions

- Participating in an on-call roster, shared fairly across the team

Skills & Experience Required

- Proven experience in commercial refrigeration service and installation

- Relevant trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

- Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence

- QLD Restricted Electrical Licence

- QBCC Mechanical Licence

- White Card

- Current manual driver’s licence

- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

- Ability to work independently and manage your own jobs

- Professional communication and customer service skills

- Ability to pass a National Police Check

- Australian working rights (sorry, no sponsorship offered)

Technicians with strong troubleshooting ability, reliability, attention to detail and a professional attitude are strongly encouraged to apply.

Experience across cold rooms, freezer rooms, ice machines, beer systems, food processing, pharmaceutical refrigeration, hotels or supermarkets will be highly regarded.
