About the opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our Mercedes-Benz Vans sales performance across multiple dealership locations. Reporting to the VP Retail Sales, you'll be responsible for growing sales across retail, fleet and commercial customer segments while leading a team of Sales Consultants and strengthening our position in key business markets.

Mercedes-Benz Vans is a trusted partner for businesses across Australia, serving everyone from sole operators through to large fleet customers. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll spend time in the market, working alongside your team and customers to identify opportunities, build relationships and deliver sustainable growth.

The successful candidate can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.

What you'll be doing

- Lead and execute regional sales strategies aligned with business and OEM objectives.

- Drive sales growth, market share and profitability across the Mercedes-Benz Vans portfolio.

- Coach, mentor and develop Mercedes-Benz Van Sales Consultants.





- Build solid relationships with fleet, commercial and business customers.

- Identify and secure new business opportunities across the region.

- Manage sales forecasting, pipeline performance and reporting.

- Work closely with Aftersales, National Fleet and Finance teams to maximise customer outcomes.

- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.

- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration and customer excellence.

What we're looking for

- Proven sales leadership experience within automotive, commercial vehicles, transport, industrial equipment or a related industry.

- Demonstrated success growing sales, market share and customer relationships.

- Experience leading and developing sales teams.

- Strong business development and stakeholder management skills.

- Commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance and drive results.

- A proactive, customer-focused leadership style.

- Experience working across multiple locations or territories will be highly regarded.
