Regional Operations Manager – Retail Cleaning

Are you an experienced operational leader who knows how to get the best out of people, build strong client relationships and deliver consistently high standards across multiple sites?

Trident Services Australia is looking for a Regional Operations Manager – Retail Cleaning to take ownership of a portfolio of retail and shopping centre sites across Brisbane.

This is a hands-on leadership role with real accountability across service delivery, people, clients, safety and commercial performance. You’ll lead and develop our site-based leaders, work closely with key clients and have the autonomy to identify opportunities, solve problems and continuously improve how we operate.

What you’ll be responsible for

You’ll take ownership of the performance of your regional portfolio, including:

- Leading cleaning operations across multiple retail and shopping centre sites

- Building strong relationships with clients, centre management and key stakeholders

- Leading, coaching and developing Cleaning Supervisors and site-based teams

- Ensuring consistently high standards of service delivery, presentation and customer experience

- Monitoring site performance against contracts, specifications, KPIs and service requirements

- Managing labour, productivity, workforce coverage and operational costs

- Identifying service gaps, operational risks and opportunities for improvement

- Conducting regular site visits, inspections and operational reviews

- Managing escalations and resolving operational and client issues

- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning and employee performance

- Maintaining solid safety, risk and compliance standards across the portfolio

- Working closely with internal teams across People & Culture, HSEQ, Recruitment, Payroll and Commercial

What we’re looking for

You’ll be an experienced multi-site operational leader who is comfortable balancing people,



clients and commercial outcomes.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

- Demonstrated experience managing cleaning, soft services, facilities or similar multi-site service operations

- Strong knowledge and practical experience within commercial cleaning services

- Experience leading large, geographically dispersed frontline workforces

- Strong people leadership capability, including coaching, performance and attendance management

- Proven client and stakeholder management skills

- Experience managing labour costs, productivity, budgets and operational performance
- A sound understanding of WHS, risk, incident management and compliance

- Experience working with contractual requirements, KPIs and service level expectations

- Strong problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills
- The confidence to take ownership, make decisions and work autonomously
- A current Australian driver's licence and the ability to regularly travel between sites
