About the Opportunity

Tact People has been engaged by a successful North American mining equipment manufacturer to recruit their foundational Regional Manager based in Perth, WA.

Our client is a fast-growing global company commercialising patented technology using controlled particle-to-particle collisions to transform mineral liberation and recovery across multiple commodities.

As business grows globally, Australia is a live and critical market. This isn’t a traditional BD or hard-sales role. It’s a dynamic, technical-commercial hybrid position for a mineral processing professional to run current projects while driving customer success on site and grow the regional business.

Key Responsibilities The role is structured to build momentum across technical deployment and commercial expansion. Tasks include:

- Run the Australian operations including coordinate local manufacturing, installation, commissioning, startup, and early operations for new systems.
- Serve as the primary local interface for customer metallurgy, engineering, and plant operations teams.
- Provide high-level technical support, performance optimisation, and troubleshooting, drawing on global engineering teams when deep technical support is needed.
- Manage commercial relationships as sites transition from commissioning into ongoing operations. This includes supporting customers to identify plant debottlenecking, and upgrade opportunities.
- Mentor, grow and support the current Australian team.
- Collaborate with global leadership to execute Australian growth strategies.
- Conduct site visits, technical presentations, and flowsheet reviews with existing and potential clients.
- Qualify new applications and commercial proposals.





This newly created role will be heavily supported by senior management and already has direct reports; further proving the growth is real.

Who We Are Looking For

If you are an energetic, commercially savvy professional with high technical credibility, and an entrepreneurial mindset; we want to hear from you. To be considered you will:

- Be an experienced professional: A minimum of 7+ years in mineral processing, applications engineering, technical services, commissioning, or an OEM environment.
- Possess expert level qualifications: Successfully completed tertiary qualifications in Mineral Processing, Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical, or Mining Engineering (or related).
- Have strong industry knowledge: Deep practical understanding of mineral processing plants.
- Demonstrated management expertise: Self-motivated, capable of operating independently while mentoring a team and possessing strong problem-solving skills.
- Be comfortable with regular travel: Based in (or willing to relocate to) Perth WA, with a willingness to travel to customer sites across Australia.

Full working rights in Australia is also required for this position.
