/n About the role /n Mater Private Hospital Townsville has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Cath Lab Recovery Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our Day Procedure. As a Cath Lab Recovery nurse you will be working across Endoscopy, Day Infusions and Cath Lab. The successful applicant will be offered Permanent Part Time employment. /n Our Perioperative Services Department provides surgical services across 16 theatres, and caters for adults and paediatrics with a variety of surgical specialties.

MPHT boasts brand new state of the art theatre facilities, a catheterization laboratory, separate onsite day site surgery facilities as well as newly implemented robotic surgery involving the da Vinci Surgical System. /n Salary range: $35.88 – $38.21 (Enrolled Nurse) per hour plus superannuation and access to salary packaging up to $15,900 annually /n Salary range: $41.47 - $53.30 per hour (Registered Nurse Level 1), plus superannuation, and access to salary packaging up to $15,900 annually /n What you’ll be doing /n As a trained recovery nurse with experience preferred in recovering Cardiac Cath lab cases, you will have a strong work ethic, self-motivation and be able to adapt quickly to changing environments as we work together to deliver first class services. Alongside your caring and engaging manner, you will have a positive attitude and strong communication skills allowing you to engage with our patients and their families. /n About you /n To be successful in this role you will possess: /n /n

- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA (without restrictions)

- Experience preferred but not necessary in either Cath lab or Endoscopy recovery areas.

- Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems
