An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Restaurant & Bar Manager to join a premium hotel dining operation in the heart of Launceston.

Our client operates a highly regarded restaurant, café and bar with a strong focus on Tasmanian produce, local wine and quality hospitality . We are looking for a hands-on hospitality leader who can drive service standards, develop the team and deliver an outstanding guest experience.

n

This role would suit an experienced Restaurant Manager, Venue Manager or a solid Assistant Restaurant Manager ready to take the next step.

The Role n

Working as the 2IC to the Food & Beverage Manager , you will help lead the day-to-day operation across restaurant, café, bar and events.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Leading and motivating the front-of-house team
n
- Overseeing breakfast, lunch and dinner services
n
- Maintaining high standards of service and guest experience
n
- Training, coaching and developing team members
n
- Assisting with rostering, ordering and stock control
n




- Supporting events and functions
n
- Ensuring RSA, safety and operational compliance
n
- Stepping into the F&B; Manager role when required
n

About You n

We are looking for someone with:

n

n
- Leadership experience within a restaurant, bar, hotel or premium hospitality venue
n
- Strong people management and communication skills
n
- A genuine passion for food, wine and customer service
n
- Experience with rostering, stock control and daily operations
n
- Current RSA
n
- Flexibility across mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
n
