/n An exciting prospect exists for a motivated Grade 2 Registered Nurse with perioperative scrub/scout experience, who are seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity to become part of our dynamic team, on a permanent basis.

/n /n We are able to provide you with excellent educational opportunities across a broad range of specialities including Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Neurosurgery, ENT, Plastics, General, Colorectal, Urology and Orthopaedics. /n /n Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69,253.60 - $92,601.60 pro rata per annum). /n Duties /n /n

- /n Ability to work efficiently as a member of a multidisciplinary team /n
- /n Managing the physical and emotional well-being of the patient /n
- /n Administration of medication in accordance with hospital procedures, protocols and policies /n
- /n Assist with medical and diagnostic procedures carried out in the unit /n
- /n Document, observe and report relevant nursing findings within the framework of nursing progress. /n /n /n A Bit About You /n /n
- /n Completed Bachelor of Nursing Degree with a current Nursing Registration with AHPRA /n
- /n Post Graduate Diploma or Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (desirable) /n
- /n Minimum 12 months current experience in perioperative nursing and a good understanding of the current standards of practice /n

/n St Vincent's Operating Suite currently houses 12 theatres, 12 anaesthetic rooms and a Post Anaesthetic Care Area. Working alongside the Sterile Processing Centre, Day Procedures and Endoscopy Centres.
