About the Role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Ideal Candidate

- Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
- Demonstrated commitment to person centred care and NSW Health Core Values.
- Desirable experience in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for infants, children, and adolescents within an acute healthcare setting
- Desirable understanding of child safety, safeguarding principles, and mandatory reporting requirements

This recruitment may be used to create a talent pool for similar future roles (ongoing, temporary or casual) that may arise over the next 18 months.
