We’re currently seeking experienced and motivated Diesel or Mechanical Fitters to join our team based at our Component Rebuild branch in Mackay QLD . You will be responsible for the disassembly, inspection, rebuild and testing of major Caterpillar components, working within our specialised team, focused on quality, safety and precision.

This position offers hands‑on technical work across a wide range of heavy equipment components, giving you excellent variety while playing a key role in helping our customers keep their operations running smoothly.

What you’ll need n
A successful teammate will have experience in:
n
n
- Qualified professional – trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent.
n
- Industry experience – proven experience in component rebuilds within heavy equipment, mining, or mechanical workshop environments.
n
- Technically skilled – strong mechanical aptitude with well‑developed fault‑finding abilities.
n
- Caterpillar experience (highly regarded) – familiarity working with Caterpillar equipment or components .
n
- Quality focused – high attention to detail with a strong commitment to workmanship standards.
n
- Technically capable – ability to read and interpret technical manuals and follow detailed specifications.
n
- Strong communicator – effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace.
n
- Safety driven – proactive approach to maintaining workplace health and safety at all times.
