Relief Registrar – Court Services
- Location: Queanbeyan HUB (based at Queanbeyan with Registrar responsibility for Cooma and Yass Courts)
- Employment Type: Ongoing full-time
- Salary: Clerk Grade 5/6 $102,936 to $113,579pa. + super + leave loading
Your role This role will be responsible for a team to deliver high quality and professional services to clients. The role requires someone who is willing to undertake travel to locations within the Queanbeyan Hub.
The role is based at Queanbeyan, with regular travel to Cooma and Yass to support the Court and to provide relief within the Queanbeyan Hub.
This role will allow the successful applicant to work across a variety of locations, building skills, capabilities and relationships.
What You’ll Do Leading the team, you will be responsible for:
- Managing, developing and inspiring staff in a fast paced and challenging environment
- Work across a variety of locations, building rapport with many different staff members
- Adapt to being in a variety of different places and roles in multiple locations
- Implementing procedures and training to ensure staff are adequately equipped to ensure best practices and standards are provided to clients
- Constantly implementing processes and procedures which are always up to date with legislation
- Dealing with staff issues and providing feedback or counselling to staff
- Adapting to work in different jurisdictions
- Supervising the team, this role will promote a positive working environment that values ethical behaviour and good performance whilst meeting statutory and administrative obligations.

- Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong people management and organisational skills
- Candidates who are driven and process focussed with the ability to adapt to working in different jurisdictions.
- Candidates who have the ability to be hands on with staff to achieve the desired goals in a busy, changing and complex work environment
Essential Requirements Circuit and relieving staff are required to possess a current Drivers Licence, be flexible and be willing to travel at short notice, including overnight stays.
