The main duties and responsibilities of a Renderer (Solid Plaster) at ProPatching Services include, but are not limited to:

· Study plans, drawings and specifications, inspect work area8s and take measurements to determine surface preparation, material quantities and finishing requirements

· Prepare internal and external surfaces by cleaning, removing loose or damaged material, repairing cracks and defects, and installing beads, mesh or other reinforcement where required

· Select, measure and mix plaster, cement, acrylic render and related compounds to the correct consistency and in accordance with product and project specifications

· Apply base, intermediate and finishing coats of plaster, cement and render to interior and exterior structures using trowels, screeds and appropriate rendering equipment

· Level, rule, float and smooth applied materials to achieve an even surface and uniform thickness, including plumbing and straightening corners, angles, walls and ceiling surfaces





· Create specified decorative textures, smooth-set finishes and other protective or architectural finishes, ensuring colour, pattern and surface consistency

· Apply and finish acoustic, insulating or fire-resistant plaster-based materials where required by the project specifications

· Carry out remedial rendering, patching and concrete surface repairs, blending repaired areas with existing finishes and rectifying surface imperfections

· Protect adjoining surfaces, maintain tools and equipment, and keep work areas clean and organised throughout each stage of the work

· Work with supervisors and other trades to meet project schedules, quality standards, site requirements and workplace health and safety procedures

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
