Scribbles & Giggles Childcare Centre – Leppington is looking for an experienced early childhood professional to join our team in an exciting Responsible Person & Operations Support role.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced educator, Room Leader, Assistant Manager or Centre Manager who is looking to step away from being continuously on the floor and in ratio, while remaining connected to early childhood and gaining valuable experience in centre operations and management.

About the Role The role focuses primarily on supporting the opening and closing operations of the centre, ensuring the service is safe, organised and operating in accordance with our requirements, while providing support to educators and families during the early and late parts of the day.

You will work closely with the Centre Manager and wider team, with opportunities over time to become involved in other areas of the service depending on your interests, such as education, compliance, administration, customer service and operations.

What We’re Looking For The successful applicant will have:

- Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Minimum 2 years' recent full-time experience in early childhood education
- Experience as an Educator, Room Leader, Assistant Manager or Centre Manager is highly regarded
- Strong understanding of NSW childcare regulations, ratios, health and safety and compliance
- Excellent English communication skills




- Robust customer service and family communication skills
- A skilled, reliable and proactive approach
- Current Working With Children Check
- A clear compliance and employment history
- Ability to work confidently and independently when required

Availability – Essential

This position requires five-day availability. The role operates on a rotating basis between:

Morning: approximately 6:45am – 11:45am

Afternoon: approximately 1:30pm – 6:30pm

We are also open to applicants seeking full-time hours, depending on the right candidate and operational requirements.
