About the role The successful candidate will work across a diverse range of residential projects and will be responsible for producing accurate, high-quality documentation in accordance with Australian building requirements and company standards.
Key responsibilities
- Produce high-quality residential working drawings and construction documentation using REVIT
- Prepare and amend drawings in accordance with client variations, engineering documentation, energy rating requirements and building regulations
- Review plans for compliance with relevant Australian requirements, including National Construction Code (NCC), ResCode, Small Lot Housing Code where applicable, Australian Standards, and local council requirements
- Coordinate architectural documentation with engineering and other consultant information
- Maintain consistency, accuracy and quality across all drawing sets
- Identify documentation issues and resolve discrepancies before drawings are issued
- Work collaboratively with the Kiara Designs team while managing assigned projects independently
About you
- Minimum 3+ years of residential drafting experience using Autodesk REVIT
- Australian Volume building drafting experience is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of residential construction and documentation
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and priorities
- Ability to work independently, manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Valuable written and verbal English communication skills
- Reliable internet connection and own laptop/PC suitable for remote REVIT work
