The Opportunity

As our Safety and Wellbeing Specialist, you'll help create and maintain a safe, healthy and supportive workplace. Partnering with leaders across the business, you'll provide expert WHS advice, lead wellbeing initiatives and drive a proactive safety culture through practical risk management, education and continuous improvement.

This diverse role combines operational delivery with strategic oversight. You'll manage the annual wellbeing program, support the ongoing development of our safety management system, and work closely with the RTW and Rehabilitation Specialist on injury management and recovery-at-work matters. You'll also lead incident and hazard management activities, including investigations, psychosocial risk assessments and corrective actions.

You'll oversee key WHS governance functions including emergency management, WHS committee coordination, first aid governance and WHS registers. Using data and insights from incidents, hazards, wellbeing initiatives and claims, you'll identify trends, prepare Board and ELT reporting, and recommend practical improvements that strengthen capability, compliance and wellbeing outcomes.

About You You're an experienced WHS professional with strong knowledge of safety legislation, risk management and wellbeing practices. You have experience managing incidents and investigations, implementing effective controls and supporting safety management systems,



ideally within an ISO 45001 and/or ISO 45003 environment.

Experience with psychosocial risk management, psychological injuries, wellbeing programs, emergency management and recovery-at-work practices will be highly regarded.

A trusted and collaborative advisor, you build strong relationships, communicate effectively and use data to drive positive safety outcomes. Relevant tertiary qualifications in WHS, Health Sciences, Psychology, Human Resources or a related discipline are essential, while certifications such as WHSO, Fire Safety Advisor or similar are highly regarded.
