The Role: The Claims Support Consultant plays a crucial role in ensuring that Recoveries & Settlements activities are undertaken in a timely, efficient and accurate manner to ensure that claims processing can occur efficiently. Ensuring all necessary information and documentation is readily available when needed will support smooth communication and efficient decision making.

Responsibilities n

Proactively manage a portfolio of Auto & General cross claims

n

Processing payments, updating claims information, processing inbound emails, calls and documents

n

Support with outsourcing to service providers such as Tapanda, Merc Agents, Legal panel etc

n

Co-ordinating F&R; (fair and reasonable) assessments and undertaking follow up action

n

Loading of POLs to support Settlements claims consultants in management of their claims

n

Review of 180 day no contact claims to ensure operational rhythms are maintained

n

Sending Proof of Loss packets to support the efficient recovery of claim costs

n

Other ad hoc administrative tasks that support the effective operation of the department

What are we looking for? n

Motor Claims, or related fields will be highly regarded but not necessary

n

A keen eye for detail and high degree of accuracy

n

Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively in a quick-paced environment

n

Demonstrated ability to work independently, with effective multitasking skills

n

A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service

n

n
- Intermediate computer skills – ability to troubleshoot and comfort working in multiple systems
n

This is an “in office” role, based at our North Lakes office
