Located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, San Telmo is a vibrant Argentinian restaurant inspired by the food, wine and hospitality of Buenos Aires. Centred around our open parrilla grill, our menu celebrates premium Australian produce, bold Argentinian flavours and traditional fire-based cooking, all delivered in a lively, quick-paced dining environment.

Who We Are

By joining San Telmo, you become part of The San Telmo Group – one of Melbourne’s established independent hospitality groups. Founded in 2011, the Group operates six unique venues across Melbourne and Brisbane: San Telmo, Palermo, Asado, Pastuso, Robata and San Telmo Brisbane.

Position Available

Casual Section Waiter – Restaurant Award Level 2

Monday–Friday: $33.85 per hour

Saturday: $40.62 per hour

Sunday: $40.62 per hour

Public Holidays: $67.70 per hour

Your Day-to-Day Will Include
- Managing your own section and delivering warm, attentive and knowledgeable service

- Guiding guests through San Telmo’s menu and confidently making food and beverage recommendations

- Building rapport with guests and working closely with the wider team to deliver memorable, efficient service

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a Section Waiter or in a similar role within a busy restaurant

- Strong understanding of sequence of service, with the confidence and experience to manage your own section

- Good food, wine and beverage knowledge, plus availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
