The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager to join the team.

This is a highly client-facing role, suited to someone who is confident managing their own portfolio of business services clients, reviewing compliance work, mentoring junior team members and assisting with workflow management and client advisory services.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take ownership of their clients while contributing to a up-to-date accounting practice that is continuing to grow and develop its advisory offering.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a portfolio of business services clients and deliver high-quality accounting and taxation services.
- Prepare and review compliance work across a range of client structures.
- Work across tax, trusts, companies, SMSFs and broader business services matters.
- Review the work of junior team members and provide ongoing guidance and mentoring.
- Assist with workflow management and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Liaise directly with clients and build strong, long-term relationships.
- Assist with client advisory services and provide practical solutions.
- Contribute to process improvement and the continued growth of the practice.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- 5+ years of Australian public practice accounting experience.
- CA or CPA qualified, or close to completing your qualification.
- Solid technical knowledge across tax, trusts, companies,



SMSFs and business services.
- Previous experience reviewing staff work and mentoring junior team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong client relationship and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a client portfolio independently.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- A proactive and client-focused approach.
- An interest in technology, automation and process improvement.

Technical Skills:

- Xero / XPM and Syft.
- FYI Docs.
- Active Workpapers.
- Microsoft 365 / Teams.
- AI-enabled workflows and automation tools.
- Now Infinity.
- ATOMate.
- Class.
