6-Month Fixed Term Contract | Mining The Opportunity
MPI is partnering with a well-established Tier 2 gold producer on a 6-month fixed term opportunity for a Senior Advisor – Business Partner Management.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in a business-wide transformation program focused on strengthening contractor and business partner management across multiple Australian operations.
Working closely with operational leaders and key stakeholders, you'll support the implementation of a structured framework designed to improve performance, capability, governance and risk management.
You'll have the prospect to work across a broad range of activities including contractor management, risk assessments, gap analysis, implementation and continuous improvement.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role where you'll be trusted to work autonomously, engage with stakeholders and help turn a new framework into practical outcomes across the business.
You'll be responsible for
- Supporting the implementation of the business partner management framework across multiple operations
- Working closely with operational leaders and key stakeholders to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Supporting contractor and business partner risk assessments and management activities
- Providing practical advice and guidance around governance, risk and performance
- Contributing to implementation, continuous improvement and change initiatives
- Building strong relationships across a complex operational environment
- Helping embed sustainable processes and capability across the business.
About You You'll be a confident stakeholder manager who can operate effectively across a complex mining or high-risk operational environment.
We're keen to hear from people with experience across areas such as:
- Contractor or business partner management
- Operational risk and governance
- Safety or risk management
- Business improvement or transformation
- Implementation or change programs
- Mining, resources or another high-risk operational industry.
You'll bring strong communication and influencing skills, sound judgement and the ability to work with stakeholders at different levels. Most importantly, you'll be practical and solutions-focused, with the confidence to identify issues and help drive them through to resolution.
