What you will be doing:

- Carry out inspections, issue orders and penalty infringement notices
- Enforce legislation requirements and regulations whilst abiding by relevant Acts
- Investigate complaints, defects incidents and offences
- Implement monitoring programs for construction site compliance and roadside environmental management.
- Prepare statement of basic facts, contentions, briefs of evidence and affidavits as well as appear in court.
- Develop educational programs for building site supervisors/tradespersons to increase compliance with development consent conditions.
- Investigate water pollution and illegal landfill dumping incidents and enforce offences under POEO Act 1997.

What are we seeking in our new team member:

- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- White Card - General Construction Induction




- Working knowledge and experience of relevant Acts, Legislation, Regulations and Standards (3-5 years)
- Diploma/Certificate IV in Town Planning, Environment Health or Building Surveying, law enforcement or related field and at least 5+ years of experience in development compliance or related occupation

Benefits of working with us: A salary $116K Senior Development Compliance Officer per annum (plus Superannuation), with either Leaseback OR Car Allowance $15,191.80 per annum, paid weekly.
