The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Division is seeking experienced financial and analytical professionals to contribute to financial reporting, financial systems, budgeting, costing, business analysis, data analytics and reporting across the Division. Multiple APS6 vacancies are available across the Financial Systems, Policy and Reporting Branch and the Budget and Financial Management Branch.
Successful applicants will undertake complex analysis, exercise sound judgement and work with stakeholders to deliver reliable financial, business and analytical products that support financial stewardship and executive decision-making.
Financial Systems, Policy and Reporting Branch The Financial Systems, Policy and Reporting Branch within CFO Division is responsible for Services Australia (the Agency)’s financial reporting, financial systems and financial policy functions.
This is complemented by the Branch’s role in providing strategic guidance on customer payment and debt systems while ensuring the integrity of financial data is well maintained, standardised and reconcilable with financial structures to support reporting. The Branch also assists the Division with business process improvement, automation and standardisation of financial processes, and the consolidation of bespoke financial systems into enterprise financial systems where appropriate.
Budget and Financial Management Branch The Budget and Financial Management Branch is responsible for providing financial management at the Agency level. This involves creating, costing, governing and reporting on the Agency’s budget, and producing the financial advantages and activity costings data which underpin the Agency’s funding requirements.
