A well-backed qualified services group in an active buy-and-build phase is looking for a commercially minded, technology-forward Senior Financial Analyst to join its finance leadership team. The business is growing quickly, both organically and through a steady pipeline of bolt-on acquisitions, and needs a sharp analytical operator to raise the quality and speed of its planning, reporting and deal analysis.

This is a broad, high-impact individual-contributor role reporting to the CFO. It combines core FP&A; with M&A;/Corporate Development, and hands-on leadership of finance automation.

What you will do

- Own high-quality budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and monthly management and Board reporting, with decision supporting insights.
- Build and maintain integrated three-statement models covering P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow, liquidity, debt and covenants.
- Lead the redesign and automation of finance and management-accounting production, using BI, planning tools and AI-enabled solutions to cut manual effort and sharpen insight.
- Provide the commercial analysis behind acquisitions: valuation, normalised earnings, funding, returns, sensitivities and downside cases.
- Build and standardise the finance inputs to the deal process, from opportunity analysis and due-diligence findings through to completion and post-investment review.

business leaders and external advisers as a trusted analytical voice.

What you will bring

- CA or CPA qualified, with strong FP&A;, commercial finance and management-accounting experience.
- Advanced financial modelling, including integrated three-statement, cash flow, valuation and sensitivity work.
- A technology-forward mindset, with advanced Excel and hands-on experience with BI, planning or automation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Workday Adaptive or similar, and curiosity about AI-enabled finance.
- Exposure to, or a genuine appetite for, transaction analysis and interpreting financial due diligence.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong reconciliation discipline and the judgement to balance recurring deadlines with project and deal work.
- Clear communication with senior executives and a genuine ownership mindset.

Nice to have

- Experience supporting acquisitions, due diligence or post-acquisition integration.
- Experience leading finance automation, reporting redesign or system implementation.
- Background in financial services, a listed or regulated environment, or another acquisitive business.

This exciting role will give you breadth across FP&A;, deals and finance transformation in a growing business, with direct exposure to the CFO and executive team and a real say in how a scaling finance function is built.
