For an international organization in Europe, we are urgently looking for a FULL REMOTE (Senior) Java Developer with Liferay knowledge and experience. This is a 100% remote position. Candidates need to be fluent in English. /n Candidates need to be able to work the European schedule. /n During the corona crisis, interviews will be done through WEBEX, and travel is not required for the interviews. /n Tasks and Responsibilities:/n

- Create a utility to import content from the OpenCms to Liferay DXP: Static and structure content
- Metadata, taxonomy, and tags
- Multilingual content; /n
- Create multilingual websites
- Integrate LDAP, create users, groups roles, and permissions; /n
- Create themes, layouts, page templates, and fragments (design elements) based on Web Style Guide (Responsive Web Design); /n
- Create workflows; /n
- Create user dashboards; /n
- Develop Liferay custom modules (portlets, hooks) based on application requirements; /n
- Integrate Google search; /n
- Provide daily updates and alias with other team members; /n
- Other related tasks as required; /n /n /n

- Bachelor or Master degree or comparable through experience; /n
- +5/+10 years of Java Development experience; /n
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Angular, JSON, XML; /n
- Expert in the Liferay Web Content Management System (CMS) with: Experience working on CMS migrations
- Extensive knowledge in Liferay themes and fragments development
- Extensive knowledge of Liferay out-of-box features and widgets
- Extensive knowledge of Liferay custom modules development and search integration; /n
- Fluent in English; /n /n /n
