We represent one of Australia's largest construction companies who have a well resourced legal team and are known for their excellent culture. They now have a rare chance for a Senior Legal Counsel - front end construction to join their well established in-house team.

Role description

You will be responsible for:

- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising on a range of contracts.
- Tender review and post tender negotiation.
- Providing general legal advice in relation to emerging project issues.
- Dealing with external and internal stakeholders, including senior management, commercial managers and clients.
- Monitoring changes in the law to ensure compliance.
- Providing legal training internally to staff.

Requirements

- Admitted in Australia and have at least 7 years' PAE in front-end construction .
- Have a commercial mindset, be a team player,



have good communication skills, collaborative, highly motivated and very organised.
- Expertise in construction, engineering and infrastructure contracts.
