We're changing people's lives and your work directly contributes to this every day. /n We’re looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native) who loves their craft and is excited to take ownership of our patient mobile app and help shape the future of mental health care. /n About the role/n Kantoko already has a live patient mobile app used as part of how our patients access and manage their care. /n As Kantoko’s Senior Mobile Engineer, you’ll take ownership of that app and be responsible for making it better every week: shipping new features, improving the patient experience, strengthening the technical foundations, and helping us scale the product as we grow. /n /n

- /n Own the Patient Mobile App and its ongoing technical direction, architecture and development. /n
- /n Ship new patient-facing features from idea through to production, working closely with product, design, engineering and operations. /n
- /n Turn sometimes very rough ideas and patient problems into well-scoped features and shipped code. /n
- /n Evolve our mobile architecture, testing strategy and release pipeline as the product grows. /n
- /n Own the quality and reliability of the mobile experience, including performance,



crash reporting, analytics, monitoring and error handling. /n
- /n Maintain a fast and predictable release cadence across the App Store and Play Store using Expo EAS, CI/CD and over-the-air updates. /n
- /n Build and improve core mobile functionality including push notifications, deep links, secure/auth flows, permissions and accessibility. /n
- /n Improve existing parts of the app where the product or technical experience could be better — whether that means simplifying a flow, improving performance or paying down the right technical debt. /n
- /n We see engineers as problem solvers – you’ll be involved directly in the what, when and how of product development, not just handed tickets. /n What you’ll bring:/n /n
- /n You’re excited about joining an early-stage startup and taking full ownership of our mobile app. /n
- /n You ship fast and iterate fast – you’re comfortable getting features into users’ hands and improving them weekly. /n
- /n You have deep experience with React Native and Expo, and strong TypeScript proficiency. /n
- /n You have shipped at least one meaningful mobile app to production (App Store / Play Store) as a primary contributor and supported it in the wild. /n
- /n Your architecture instincts are solid: navigation, state management,



error handling, etc. /n
- /n You’re passionate about great performance and smooth UX. /n
- /n You’re pragmatic and know how to prioritise effectively. /n
