This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane or Sydney.

Responsibilities

Day to day, you'll contribute to investment decisions as part of the Dynamic Asset Allocation team by:

- Diving into the drivers of economies, interest rates, earnings and other factors that affect asset valuations.




- Forming differentiated views and utilising investment models to identify portfolio positions that deliver superior risk-adjusted returns.
- Expanding and evolving our valuation and portfolio construction models to help us better identify opportunities and manage risk.
- Monitoring market developments, assessing portfolio exposures and issuing trade instructions.
- Bringing investment ideas to life through transparent, compelling and professionally presented proposals.
- Contributing to team culture by sharing insights, debating ideas as well as working proactively and collaboratively to deliver portfolio outcomes.

Qualifications

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

- You hold a degree in finance, investments, commerce, economics or a related discipline.
- You have a strong understanding of macroeconomic drivers and their impact on asset prices.
- You have worked in the investment space and understand the market and how to balance risk and reward.
- You have strong research skills and intellectual curiosity.
- You know how to build strong relationships and you're a great team player.
- You have a sharp eye for detail.
- You have experience or interest in coding languages, such as Python.
