Support the transparent and effective delivery of government funding programs for local government communities!

- Temporary full-time opportunity up to 30 June 2027
- NSW office location negotiable with flexible working supported
- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $116,981.00 to $129,491.00 (Clerk Grade 7/8)

The role

As the Senior Program Officer Grants, you will contribute to the effective delivery of government funding programs by administering grants and supporting sound grants governance, policy and administration practices.

The role offers a varied mix of grants administration, program and project support, reporting, stakeholder communication and continuous improvement. You will help ensure funding initiatives are implemented consistently, transparently and in line with organisational objectives, while providing flexible support to emerging program priorities.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on program delivery, working with data and reporting, supporting governance requirements and helping improve grants administration practices that deliver quality outcomes.

What you will bring to the role

- Strong grants administration or program support skills, with the ability to apply approved policies, processes and systems to manage funding consistently, transparently and in line with governance requirements.
- Positive planning and coordination skills, with the ability to support projects, program initiatives, reporting requirements and agreed outcomes within tight timeframes and competing priorities.
- Sound written communication skills,



including the ability to prepare accurate reports, correspondence and briefing materials that support informed decision-making and clear stakeholder communication.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to draw on information and data from multiple sources, identify trends, validate accuracy and contribute to evidence-based reporting and program evaluation.
- A proactive and improvement-focused approach, with the ability to support better grants administration processes, tools and practices while maintaining compliance, accountability and service delivery standards.
