About the Role
n
As an Automotive Spray Painter, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality paint finishes and ensuring repairs are completed to manufacturer and industry standards.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Prepare and refinish vehicles to a high standard
n
- Colour match and blend paints accurately
n
- Manage the paint process from preparation through to final finish
n
- Maintain paint booth cleanliness and WHS standards
n
- Work efficiently within production timelines
n
- Collaborate with panel and repair teams to achieve quality outcomes
n
- Conduct final quality checks before vehicle handover
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing (or equivalent)
n
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an Automotive Spray Painter
n
- Experience within a collision repair or panel shop environment
n
- Knowledge of waterborne and solvent-based paint systems
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
n
- Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced team environment
n
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
- I-CAR® accreditation or willingness to undertake training
n
- Experience working within a high-volume repair environment
n
- OEM repair methodology experience
n
n
