Senior Project Manager | Minerals Processing EPC

Perth-based with project and site involvement

- Lead major contractor-side EPC projects from engineering through handover
- Genuine accountability for cost, schedule, margin and contractual performance
- Strong pipeline across gold, iron ore and critical minerals

I am supporting several established EPC contractors seeking experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers for current and upcoming minerals-processing projects.

The immediate requirement is for a senior delivery professional capable of taking end-to-end responsibility for a substantial EPC project where the contractor carries the contractual cost, schedule and performance risk.

The opportunity

You will lead multidisciplinary project delivery across:

- Engineering and design management.
- Procurement, vendor management and international fabrication.
- Logistics, construction and SMP execution.
- Project controls, forecasting and cost-to-complete.
- Contract administration, variations and claims.
- Schedule management and recovery planning.
- Client, subcontractor and stakeholder relationships.
- Commissioning, handover and commercial closeout.

You will be accountable for protecting project margin, identifying delivery risk early and ensuring engineering, procurement and construction decisions remain aligned with the overall execution strategy.

Experience required The strongest candidates will have:





- Direct contractor-side EPC or lump-sum turnkey project delivery experience.
- Personal accountability for major project cost, schedule and commercial performance.
- Experience delivering mining or minerals-processing projects, ideally with EPC scopes above $150 million, however I have smaller projects from $50M+
- A solid understanding of engineering, procurement, fabrication, logistics and construction interfaces.
- Demonstrated management of cost-to-complete, forecasting, variations, claims and schedule recovery.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams through difficult delivery periods.
- The ability to engage credibly with clients while protecting the contractor’s commercial position.
- Australian project experience and appropriate working rights.

Experience across gold, copper, lithium, rare earths, iron ore or other mineral-processing projects will be well regarded.

Permanent Perth-based opportunities are available, with project and site travel as required. Senior remuneration packages and project allowances will reflect the level of accountability and relevant delivery experience.
