12th August, 2026/n About the Opportunity Advance Thinking is seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join a newly formed enterprise ServiceNow team with one of our key clients. /n This is a hands-on senior role for someone who knows the ServiceNow platform deeply and wants the opportunity to influence how it is built, governed and improved — not simply maintain an existing environment.

/n You'll initially join through Advance Thinking on a 4–5 month contract, with a structured pathway to transition into a permanent position directly with our client. /n Working across a broad ServiceNow roadmap, you'll deliver solutions spanning ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, IRM, CSDM and enterprise integrations, while helping establish strong platform standards and ways of working.

/n The Role You'll combine hands-on ServiceNow development with technical problem-solving, platform governance and stakeholder engagement across a complex enterprise environment. /n Key responsibilities include: /n /n

- Design, configure and develop ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD and IRM.

/n

- Build integrations and automation using Integration Hub, APIs and platform scripting.

/n

- Implement and govern CSDM and CMDB standards across the platform.

/n

- Configure and enhance Service Catalogues, workflows and enterprise processes.

/n

- Support ITOM capabilities including Discovery and infrastructure workflows.

/n

- Provide technical input from solution scoping and design through to deployment.

/n

- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, automate manual activities and improve user experience.

/n

- Maintain solid platform security, development and governance standards.

/n

- Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and vendors to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.

/n

- Provide technical documentation,



knowledge sharing and upskilling to internal team members.

/n What We're Looking For You'll be an experienced ServiceNow Developer / Engineer who can operate autonomously and is comfortable taking ownership within a large enterprise environment./n

/n Ideally, you'll bring:/n

/n /n

- Strong hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration experience.

/n

- Demonstrated experience across ITSM and ITOM, with exposure to HRSD and/or IRM highly regarded.

/n

- Strong knowledge of CSDM, CMDB and ServiceNow data architecture.

/n

- Experience building enterprise integrations using Integration Hub and APIs.

/n

- Strong ServiceNow scripting and workflow automation capability.

/n

- Experience delivering within complex enterprise environments.

/n

- A solid understanding of ITIL and Agile/Lean delivery practices.

/n

- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business stakeholders.

/n ServiceNow CSA and/or relevant CIS certifications are highly regarded, as is previous experience within utilities, critical infrastructure or other regulated enterprise environments./n
