We are seeking a strong Senior Trainer & Assessor for our client, with a genuine temp to perm opportunity for the right person.
This is a key site-based role working on a 7/7 roster, responsible for supporting and coordinating training and competency across the operation.

About the Role
You will be responsible for coordinating site training and competency requirements, ensuring employees are trained, assessed and competent to safely perform their roles.
You will also provide leadership and support to the site training team, assist with training plans and programs, maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with site and legislative requirements.
The role will work closely with operational teams to identify training needs, monitor competency and support ongoing workforce development and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a senior training role within mining
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
- Experience with INX or a similar training management system
- Strong understanding of mining training and competency requirements
- Experience leading or supervising Trainers and Assessors
- Understanding of nationally recognised training requirements
- Strong knowledge of mining operations, safety and compliance
- Excellent communication, organisation and administration skills
- Ability to build robust relationships across site
- A proactive approach to training, development and continuous improvement
