We are seeking an experienced Senior Wireless Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise wireless networking. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting wireless network infrastructure within a large enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless, Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), Access Points, wireless security, and enterprise Wi-Fi technologies, along with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise Wi-Fi/WLAN networks.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco wireless infrastructure, including WLCs and Access Points.
- Perform wireless network troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and optimization.
- Plan and support wireless network deployments, upgrades, migrations, and transformation projects.
- Conduct wireless site surveys and analyse coverage, capacity, interference, and connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot wireless connectivity, roaming, authentication, interference, and performance-related issues.
- Configure and support wireless security, authentication, and 802.1X solutions.
- Monitor wireless network performance to ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal user experience.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support and participate in major incident and problem resolution.
- Work closely with network, security, infrastructure, and other technical teams to resolve complex issues.
- Analyse network incidents, identify root causes, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, configurations, and technical procedures.
- Follow ITIL processes,



security standards, and organisational policies.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and network transformation initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6 years of experience in enterprise networking and/or wireless networking.
- Solid hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless/WLAN technologies.
- Proven experience with Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) and Access Points.
- Strong understanding of Wi-Fi technologies, RF concepts, and wireless troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, VLAN, DHCP, and DNS.
- Experience with wireless security, authentication, and 802.1X.
- Experience using network monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting tools.
- Good understanding of enterprise network architecture.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a technical team.

Good to Have

- Cisco CCNA / CCNP Wireless certification.
- Experience with Cisco DNA Center.
- Experience with Cisco ISE.
- Knowledge of SD-WAN and enterprise LAN/WAN technologies.
- Experience in wireless network design and site surveys.
- Experience working within a large enterprise, managed services, or multi-site environment.
- Knowledge of ITIL-based service management processes.
