Commercial Property Lawyer — Associate (4+ years PQE)

Brisbane / Gold Coast / Sunshine Coast | Full time, permanent | Work from any of five South East Queensland offices

A boutique South East Queensland practice with five offices — Toowong, Albany Creek, Noosa (Tewantin), Gold Coast (Carrara) and Russell Island. The firm covers property, commercial, family and estates work for local business owners and private clients, and has built its reputation on direct, practical advice rather than a corporate front.

The role

n

You'll run a commercial property and business transactions file load as an Associate, with the autonomy to manage matters end to end and direct client contact from day one. Work includes:

n

Commercial, industrial and retail sales and acquisitions
n Retail and commercial leasing, including negotiation, drafting and renewals
n Business sales and purchases, structuring and related agreements
n Development and off-the-plan matters, plus complex residential conveyancing
n Due diligence, contract review and settlement management
n Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and support staff

n

About you

n





4+ years' post-admission experience in commercial property, with leasing and transactional depth
n Admitted to practice in Queensland (or eligible for admission) with a current practising certificate
n Comfortable holding your own files and dealing directly with clients, agents and other side
n Practical and commercial in your advice, and steady when settlements get tight
n Interest in helping build out the property offering across the firm's offices
