n Job Title: Mechatronics Engineer

About the Role:
n This is an end-to-end engineering position within a highly technical manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and optimising mechanical and mechatronic systems, working closely with cross-functional engineering and production teams.
n The role provides an opportunity to contribute to innovative aerospace technology while applying your expertise across mechanical design, electronics integration, testing and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

n

- Design and develop mechanical and mechatronic systems to meet project requirements.
n
- Conduct testing, analysis and validation to ensure reliability and performance.
n
- Integrate mechanical components with electronic systems and assemblies.
n
- Develop detailed engineering documentation, drawings and technical reports.
n
- Troubleshoot and optimise mechanical and mechatronic systems.
n
- Apply GD&T;, tolerance analysis and fit assessments throughout the design process.
n




- Support the development and testing of harnesses, wiring systems and ECUs.
n
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety requirements.
n
- Manage engineering tasks, project timelines and deliverables.
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement across engineering, production and quality.
n

Qualifications: n
n

n
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
n
- Experience with mechanical design software and engineering tools.
n
- Robust problem-solving and analytical capabilities, including experience with 8D or 7-Step methodologies.
n
- Experience designing, developing and testing mechanical or mechatronic systems.
n
- Understanding of harnesses, wiring systems and ECUs.
n
- Strong knowledge of testing, GD&T;, tolerance analysis and fit assessments.
n
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
n
- Proactive approach to managing priorities, projects and engineering deliverables.
n
- Experience within a manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, defence environment will be highly regarded.
