About you
Manage a team of staff in the daily management of Service department. This role is all encompassing in all aspects of an automotive vehicle service workshop managing a team of technicians, advisors, and support staff in ensuring customer satisfaction.
In the role you will communicate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including the manufacturers we represent providing updates and information within pre-determined KPI’s.
Whilst you will be responsible for management of a number of staff to assist with the process this is a hands-on role and will require you to be working within the team from time to time.
Our workshop is open Monday to Friday only and the role comes with an allocated company vehicle or vehicle allowance and a favorable remuneration package to match the role.
Skills and Experience
- As this is a quick-paced workshop applicants need to have previous automotive service department experience.
- Proven ability to manage the performance of others, fostering teamwork and empowering others to succeed.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of service department related processes
- Mechanical and product knowledge of automotive industry
- High attention to detail and sound organisational skills
- Effective time management skills
- Results orientation and decisiveness
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of works
- Current and valid manual driver licence
- Neat and professional appearance that reflects business and dealership standards.
