We are currently seeking a trade qualified Sheet Metal Worker to join a busy and established manufacturing environment. This is a hands on role suited to someone who takes pride in their workmanship, can confidently read drawings and enjoys working with sheet metal and specialised machinery.
ROLE
- Operating machinery folding and bending
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products to a high standard
- Quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work area
REQUIREMENTS
- Trade Qualification in Sheet Metal or Metal Fabrication
- Proven 2 years experience within a sheet metal manufacturing workplace
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Robust attention to detail
- Experience operating sheet metal machinery
- Proficient with hand/power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Reliable, punctual and committed to producing high-quality work
