We're continuing to grow and are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our project delivery team, complementing our strong pipeline of work in hand and upcoming projects across Newcastle and the surrounding areas. THE ROLE The Foreman role is responsible for ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget, while ensuring optimum outcomes with respect to safety and quality. The Foreman role is a site-based role responsible for coordinating the site program, management of trades as well as overseeing plant and equipment for achieving the successful handing over of the project to the client.

The Foreman is responsible for the following areas;

- Maintain overall program in conjunction with the Site Manager
- Involvement and co-ordination of overall programme and preliminary forecasts
- Coordinate all trade packages




- Ensure design is completed to an acceptable standard in time to maintain programme
- Monitor of safety regulations and policy protocols on-site
- Assist the Site Manager to manage and coach staff effectively and proactively address performance issues as they arise.
- Formulate the site programme (fortnightly and monthly) in accordance with the project target program and issue to relevant parties (including Project Manager and Subcontractors)
- Management of site activities to achieve the most productive use of available materials and construction resources (internal and external)
- Manage the day-to-day activity of subcontractors and site labour to the project plan, project drawings and specifications
- Work in conjunction with the Site Manager regarding receipt and distribution of all relevant correspondence and administration
- Preparation and administration of defects list for trades
- Maintain overall quality assurance whilst ensuring building compliance

ABOUT YOU

You’re an experienced Site Foreman with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach to delivering high-quality projects safely and on schedule.

You’ll also bring

- Proven experience as a Site Foreman or Supervisor in residential construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods,



site coordination and sequencing.
- Ability to manage trades, subcontractors and site activities effectively.
- Strong understanding of WHS, quality control and site compliance.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
- Solid communication and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive approach to maintaining site standards, progress and safety.
- Relevant construction qualifications and/or trade background.
- Willingness to work across Newcastle and surrounding areas.
