At Granny Flats WA, our Site Workers play a critical role in every build we deliver. Before the slab is poured and construction begins, someone needs to prepare the site properly.

We're looking for a reliable, hard-working Construction Labourer / Site Worker to join our Civils team and help deliver granny flats across Perth.

This is a genuine hands-on role where you'll be working outdoors, operating machinery, preparing sites, installing drainage and helping create the foundations that every project is built on.

Let's be upfront: this is physical work. There will be manual digging, trenching, lifting and outdoor work throughout the year. If you enjoy being active, working with your hands and seeing the results of a hard day's work, you'll fit right in.

No two days are the same. One day you may be setting out a new build, and the next operating machinery, preparing a concrete pad or installing stormwater.

What You'll Be Doing

- Site preparation and earthworks

- Manual digging, trenching and excavation works

- Reading plans and completing site set-out

- Using laser levels and measuring equipment

- Preparing and compacting sand pads

- Stormwater and drainage installation

- Concrete pad and slab preparation

- Operating mini loaders and site equipment

- General construction labouring and material handling

- Assisting with deliveries and yard operations

- Maintaining safe, clean and organised worksites

What You'll Bring

Essential

- White Card

- Current Driver's Licence

- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance

- Physically fit and capable of sustained manual labour

- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Highly Regarded

- Construction, civil, landscaping or earthworks experience

- Machinery operating experience

- Ability to read plans

- Experience with site set-out and laser levels

- Additional licences or tickets

Hours of Work

This is a permanent full-time position working 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

September to February: 6:30am – 3:00pm

March to August: 7:00am – 3:30pm

Our warehouse and yard are based in Willetton, with work carried out across sites throughout the Perth metropolitan area.
