Burton Civil Maintenance is a business underpinned by a legacy of experience within the civil sector, working on significant major infrastructure, our civil capabilities provide a range of services in the facilities and civil maintenance arena.

We are seeking a skilled Site Supervisor with previous roadworks, noise / retaining wall construction experience to join our team. Reporting to the Bid & Delivery Manager you will be responsible for the project planning, organising, coordinating, and controlling resources whilst continuing to maintain a safe working environment for all workers. The key function of this position is the supervision and coordination of site personnel, in line with the project program.

The individual must be a proven track record with the experience to lead a site team. Experience managing projects valued up to $5m, complimented with sound WHS, workplace and quality.

It is expected that 80% of the projects will be undertaken during Night Works and the working week will typically be Sunday - Thursday (nights).

The successful applicant must demonstrate the following Competencies:

- Site and people management





- Construction management

- Subcontractor management (including pipe & crane crews, concreters)

- Aptitude both in written and verbal form

- Problem solving - deductive reasoning & analytical thinking

- Develop and execute project program and planning

- Detailed understanding of drawings and Council / TfNSW specifications

- Competence in the use of survey equipment (i.e. Laser levels)

- Availability to work night and weekend shifts.

- Civil construction exposure specific to Roadworks & Noise / Retaining Walls

- Multi-tasking

- Have the capacity to plan and prioritise

- WHS - Quality & Process Improvement Management
