Eva Copper Mine is creating long-term opportunities for North West Queensland, and we're looking for a passionate and community-focused Social Performance Coordinator to join our team.

This is a 40-hour per week position that offers a blend of site-based, office-based and community-facing work. You'll spend time engaging with stakeholders across the Cloncurry region, supporting activities on site, and working from the project office to coordinate reporting, communications and social performance initiatives. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, building relationships and being actively connected to the local community.

As a key member of our community relations team, you will work closely with community stakeholders, Traditional Owners, local government, contractors and internal teams to support the delivery of social performance initiatives throughout construction, operational readiness and into operations.

About the Role The Social Performance Coordinator will support the delivery of the project's Social Performance Management Plan (SPMP) while helping maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders and ensuring social performance commitments are effectively implemented, monitored and reported.

This role will play an important part in supporting community engagement activities, tracking commitments, coordinating reporting, and helping foster positive and lasting relationships throughout the region.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate and support delivery of the Social Performance Management Plan across construction, operational readiness and early operations.
- Coordinate local communication, engagement and recognition programs that strengthen community partnerships and enhance the project's presence within the region.
- Monitor social performance commitments, actions and obligations, maintaining accurate records and supporting documentation.
- Track, analyse and report on social performance outcomes, trends and key performance indicators.
- Support community engagement,



consultation and community investment activities.
- Manage and maintain records relating to community enquiries, feedback, complaints and grievances.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with local stakeholders, community organisations, government agencies and representative groups.
- Support engagement activities with Traditional Owners in collaboration with the Cultural Heritage Officer.
- Work closely with contractors and internal teams to embed social performance expectations into day-to-day project activities.
- Coordinate governance meetings, reporting requirements, action tracking and follow-up activities.
- Assist with internal communications and workforce engagement initiatives that support the transition to operations.
- Identify emerging social risks, opportunities and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

You are a highly organised and approachable professional with excellent communication and engagement skills and a genuine passion for working with communities and stakeholders. To be successful, you will bring:
- At least 5 years' experience in community relations, stakeholder engagement, communications, social performance or a similar role.
- Experience within mining, major projects, construction or operational environments will be highly regarded.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation preparation.
- Strong organisational, analytical and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 applications and reporting systems; Power BI experience is desirable.
- An understanding of community engagement practices,



social performance principles and cultural heritage considerations.
- A demonstrated commitment to actively engaging and being part of the North West Queensland community, building local relationships and contributing to Eva Copper’s long-term future in the region.

These assets are supported by the Harmony Australasia regional corporate office located in Milton, Brisbane.

The Eva Copper Mine is a significant and strategically important project for Harmony marking a major milestone in the company’s copper growth strategy and its long-term commitment to Northwest Queensland. The mine will have a minimum life of 15 years and will involve mining multiple open cut pits providing copper bearing ore to a concentrator. Front-end engineering design is complete, and mine construction is expected to take up to 30 months with first production targeted for the second half of the 2028 calendar year.
