Our client are a growing Australian education business with a robust and established presence across social media.

Their content currently reaches hundreds of thousands of people each month , and we're looking for an experienced Brand & Social Media Manager to take ownership of their social presence and help grow the brand further.

This is an opportunity to join a business with an existing audience, established content operations and significant room to grow.

The role:

This isn't a junior social media role focused on scheduling posts.

We're looking for someone who understands how to build a brand, grow an audience and create content that people genuinely want to engage with .

You'll take ownership of the social media strategy and brand presence, working closely with the founder and an established content team.

You'll have editors supporting content production, allowing you to focus on the bigger picture: what we create, why we create it, how it represents the brand and how we grow the audience.

The ideal person will bring their own ideas, experience and creative judgement and be comfortable using data to understand what is working and where there is room to improve.

- Own and develop the company's social media and broader brand presence.
- Love what you do, create awesome content and enjoy working with a team that values high performers.

About you: We're looking for someone who has already demonstrated that they can build and grow a brand presence across social media .

You might have

- Experience managing social media for a brand, business, creator or organisation.
- A solid personal social media presence or following that demonstrates your understanding of what makes content work.
- A portfolio showing measurable results.
- Experience growing an audience rather than simply managing a posting schedule.
- Strong instincts around branding, content and storytelling.




- The ability to analyse performance data and understand why content performs.
- Experience working with editors, designers, creators or other content producers.
- A genuine interest in social media, content and building brands.

Experience in education, tutoring, publishing, youth-focused brands or other content-led businesses would be highly regarded. Experience with Google Ads, SEO or broader digital marketing would be beneficial but is not essential.

We're less interested in how many years you've been in the industry and more interested in what you've actually built .

You may be relatively early in your career but have already grown a significant following, built a successful personal brand or demonstrated that you understand how to consistently create content that reaches people.

Alternatively, you may have several years of experience managing social media for established brands.

What matters is that you have proof .

We'd like to see the accounts you've managed, audiences you've grown, campaigns you've worked on and the numbers behind your work.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who genuinely loves social media, branding and content .

You're someone who naturally follows trends, thinks about recent ideas, notices what other brands are doing and enjoys creating content even outside of work.
