Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Migration Solutions Architect to design and lead complex enterprise migration and consolidation programs across Microsoft environments in a banking/financial services domain.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with Quest migration tools, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID and Azure, with the ability to take migrations from discovery and planning through execution, cutover and post-migration support.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and lead enterprise migration and consolidation programs.
- Plan and execute Active Directory, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 migrations.
- Use Quest migration tools to support complex migration scenarios.
- Perform discovery, dependency analysis, migration assessment and readiness planning.
- Define migration architecture, approach, sequencing, coexistence and cutover strategies.
- Plan tenant-to-tenant, domain and identity migrations.
- Manage data, user, group, device and application dependencies during migration.
- Develop migration runbooks, rollback plans and validation processes.
- Identify and manage migration risks, security requirements and technical dependencies.
- Lead migration testing, cutover, troubleshooting and post-migration stabilisation.
- Work closely with infrastructure, security, application and business teams throughout delivery.

- Data validation, rollback and post-migration support
- Networking, security and infrastructure dependencies
- Robust troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills

Experience

- Experience in Financial Services (desirable)
- Strong experience delivering large-scale enterprise migration programs.
- Hands-on experience with Quest migration tooling.
- Proven experience migrating Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Entra ID environments.
- Experience with complex tenant, domain and identity consolidation.
- Strong understanding of migration architecture, coexistence, cutover and rollback.
- Ability to lead migrations from initial discovery through production cutover and stabilisation.
- Relevant Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 or identity certifications are highly regarded.
