Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Care Partner Registered Nurse to join our aged care team. This is a part-time position based in Logan, QLD. In this role, you will provide compassionate, professional nursing care to our clients whilst working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary care team. You will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of clinical care and ensuring the wellbeing and dignity of our elderly residents. This position offers the flexibility of part-time work whilst making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable older adults.

Key responsibilities

- Provide direct nursing care to aged care clients, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care needs
n
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements
n
- Monitor and respond to changes in resident health status, escalating concerns to appropriate medical professionals
n
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and resident records
n
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team including doctors, allied health professionals and care support workers to deliver coordinated, person-centred care
n
- Support clients with activities of daily living and promote their independence and dignity
n
- Identify and respond to clients' physical, emotional and psychological needs
n
- Implement infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe care environment
n
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and participate in clinical audits
n
- Support the training and development of care team members where appropriate
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse
n
- Relevant qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or Registered Nursing Diploma
n




- Proven experience working in aged care or similar healthcare settings
n
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills relevant to aged care nursing practice
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with residents, families and staff
n
- Demonstrated commitment to person-centred, compassionate care
n
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
n
- Sound clinical judgment and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
n
- Knowledge of aged care legislation, standards and best practice guidelines
n
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic care environment
